 Job Title: Commercial Roofing Project Manager
Location: Multiple (Raleigh, Charlotte, Atlanta, Orlando, Nashville, Tampa)
Compensation: $85,000-$120,000 (DOE - or +)
Requirements:
  • 3+ years project management experience working in commercial roofing space
    • we could be open to more junior folks APM, PE, etc that are eager to learn and grow
  • Edge software experience is ideal, but open to other software as well (MS Project, Procore, OST, Planswift, etc)
  • OSHA 10/30 ideal, but not required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee our commercial roofing projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of commercial roofing systems, particularly TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) roofing, and a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
    • Coordinate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met
    • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial consultation to final inspection
    • Implement and maintain project management best practices and methodologies
  • Commercial Roofing Expertise:
    • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of commercial roofing systems, particularly TPO roofing
    • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in commercial roofing
    • Provide technical guidance and support to the roofing team and clients
    • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and motivate a team of roofing professionals, including supervisors, technicians, and laborers
    • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to team members
    • Conduct performance evaluations and identify areas for improvement and training
    • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the team
  • Client Relations:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project
    • Conduct regular meetings with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and manage expectations
    • Resolve conflicts and negotiate solutions to ensure client satisfaction
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Quality Control:
    • Implement and oversee quality control processes for all roofing projects
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations
    • Identify and address potential issues before they escalate
    • Ensure proper documentation of all quality control measures and inspections
  • Budget and Cost Management:
    • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints
    • Monitor expenses, track costs, and implement cost-saving measures when necessary
