Job Title: Foreman

Job Summary 

The Foreman is responsible for managing and actively participating in commercial roofing sealant system projects from start to finish. This role combines hands-on field work with project leadership responsibilities to ensure jobs are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to EverSeal Roofing quality standards. 

This position requires working alongside crew members in the field while also overseeing job planning, materials, inspections, and communication with customers and internal teams. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Project Execution and Field Work 

  • Actively participate in daily roofing sealant system installations and repairs 
  • Lead crews in the field and ensure proper installation techniques are followed 
  • Perform roof inspections and assist with project scoping and measurements 
  • Maintain jobsite cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance 
  • Troubleshoot field issues and make real-time decisions to keep projects moving 

Project Management and Coordination 

  • Plan and manage assigned projects from start to completion 
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and supply runs to ensure crews are prepared 
  • Monitor job progress to ensure timelines and budgets are met 
  • Complete required project documentation and reporting 
  • Communicate project status with management and office staff 

Leadership and Team Development 

  • Lead by example through strong work ethic and professionalism 
  • Train and mentor crew members on procedures, safety, and quality standards 
  • Enforce company policies and jobsite rules consistently 
  • Promote teamwork and accountability within assigned crews 

Customer Communication 

  • Serve as the primary field contact for customers during project execution 
  • Address customer questions or concerns in a professional manner 
  • Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded 
  • Report any customer issues to management promptly 

Safety and Quality Control 

  • Enforce all company and OSHA safety standards 
  • Conduct daily safety checks and jobsite inspections 
  • Ensure all work meets EverSeal Roofing quality standards and manufacturer requirements 
  • Identify and correct deficiencies immediately 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in construction, roofing, or a skilled trade 
  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership or crew supervision experience 
  • Roofing or commercial coating experience preferred but not  
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to manage people and projects simultaneously 
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license 
  • Ability to pass background and driving record checks if  

Physical and Work Requirements 

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 60 miles to assigned job sites; travel time to/from the job site is considered normal commuting. 
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly 
  • Ability to climb ladders and work on roofs safely 
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the workday 
  • Willingness to work extended hours when project schedules require
