The Externals Group is working with a well established roofing contractor specializing in commercial and governmental projects throughout the state of Florida.
The Estimator will work with project managers to complete accurate estimates based on manufacturer specifications to meet warranty requirements and local building codes.
A Day in the Life:
- Explore all specification/drawing documentation to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements.
- Develop estimates and bids for construction projects.
- Draft and develop detailed proposals and cost estimates for Commercial Roofing projects based on data analysis and research; distributes reports to project managers, engineers, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to compile project notes, RFI’s, and scope development.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience with a strong understanding of estimating in commercial roofing.
- Must be located within 50 miles of the Lake Worth area.
- Proficient with the EDGE estimating software.
