What The Position is About:
- Lead and manage a team of 2+ commercial sales reps to achieve sales targets and increase revenue
- Recruit, hire, and train the sales roster (looking to grow the team)
- Coach, mentor, and motivate the sales team
- Conduct check-ins and ride-alongs with the sales reps
- Lead sales meetings and one on ones
- Develop and implement sales strategies and process to increase market share and customer base
- Monitor sales metrics and performance, and provide regular feedback to the sales team
- Develop and manage sales budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources
- Collaborate with estimators, production, operations, and leadership teams to ensure seamless project execution
The Right Candidate Will Have:
- 3+ years of sales management experience within the commercial roofing industry is required
- Strong background in low-slope and metal roofing systems is required
- The ability to motivate and hold a team accountable
- P&L experience
- Experience building or implementing a sales training program is a plus
