We currently have an excellent career opportunity for a Business Development Manager with at least 3 years of sales experience in a similar construction-related field. We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help expand our presence in the Denver market by building and nurturing key partnerships, growing our referral network, and uncovering new project opportunities.
Our ideal candidate has experience in commercial construction or commercial roofing, thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, and has a proven track record of consistently meeting sales goals and objectives. Position Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business, strengthening existing relationships, and expanding Farha Roofing’s presence throughout the Denver metro area. This role will work closely with ownership, operations, and the sales team to grow revenue, improve market share, and support strategic initiatives.
This is a full-time, salaried position with performance-based incentives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Lead Generation
Identify, pursue, and secure new residential and commercial roofing opportunities.
Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects including property managers, general contractors, real estate professionals, HOAs, and insurance contacts.
Attend networking events, trade shows, industry associations, and community functions to build brand awareness and generate leads.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, clients, and referral sources.
Conduct regular touchpoints (in-person visits, calls, email follow-ups) to stay top-of-mind and uncover new opportunities.
Collaborate with internal sales and production teams to ensure a positive customer experience from lead to project completion.
Strategy & Market Development
Analyze local market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Help develop and execute business development strategies, campaigns, and promotions.
Provide feedback to leadership on pricing, service offerings, and competitive positioning.
Sales Support & Reporting
Partner with the sales team to support estimates, proposals, and presentations as needed.
Maintain accurate records of activities, prospects, and opportunities in the CRM.
Track and report on KPIs, including lead generation, meetings, proposals, and closed business.
Qualifications
Required:
3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
Proven track record of generating new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong networking skills and comfort with regular in-person meetings and events.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
Preferred:
Experience in roofing, construction, property management, or related industries.
Familiarity with the Denver/Front Range market and local business community.
Experience using CRM software and basic Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.
