Vice President of Production – Residential Roofing (National Operations Leadership)
Reports To: Regional President, Greenfield Division
Location: National – Heavy Travel
About the Role
We're launching new residential roofing markets across the U.S. and need an experienced Vice President of Production to build and run the field operational side of the business. This leader will build and design scalable processes, recruit and develop local production teams, and ensure every job is installed on time, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
This role requires a blend of hands-on operations leadership, strategic oversight, and deep industry expertise to deliver best-in-class service, operational efficiency, and financial performance. Candidates with multi-site residential roofing or exterior construction experience will stand out.
What You'll Do
Build the production playbook for new market launches, covering permitting, subcontractor sourcing, scheduling, job close-out, and warranty processes
Recruit, hire, and mentor local production managers, superintendents, and field support staff
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and customer focus across all field operations
Build and manage subcontractor and supplier networks to ensure capacity in every market
Track and enforce KPIs: job cycle time, completion rate, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
Own the customer experience from contract to completion, ensuring jobs are delivered cleanly, safely, and with satisfied homeowners
Implement and enforce safety and compliance protocols across all jobsites
Partner closely with Sales leadership to keep jobs flowing efficiently from contract through close-out
Travel regularly to launch new markets and oversee multi-site operations
What We're Looking For
10+ years leading multi-site residential roofing or exterior construction operations
Hands-on experience launching or scaling new markets
Strong subcontractor/vendor management skills
Proven success managing P&L, budgets, and operational goals
Customer-focused leader who values safety, quality, and accountability
Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills
Expertise in KPI development and operational efficiency
Willingness to travel extensively to support new market launches
Compensation
Base Salary: $150K–$180K
Bonus: 20–30% tied to production KPIs (throughput, quality, customer satisfaction/NPS
