Your Role
As the Service Sales Representative, your focus is simple: go out and win business. You’ll build relationships, make outbound calls, meet with clients, and perform roof walks to identify opportunities. While estimators and project managers handle pricing and project delivery, your job is to hunt for leads, close deals, and grow service accounts across Nashville and the surrounding region.

 

Company Overview:
Based in Nashville and founded by a Marine Corps veteran, this contractor has grown from a one-man operation into a $12.5M company with 25 employees in just five years. With commercial work currently making up 35% of revenue, they’re aiming to reach a 50/50 commercial-residential split—and that’s where you come in.

They’re hiring their first dedicated Commercial Service Sales Rep to focus solely on growing service work, backed by a solid team of estimators, project managers, and leadership. Projects typically range from $600K to $3M and feature systems like Carlisle, GAF, and Firestone (TPO, EPDM, and metal), split evenly between GC work and direct-to-owner service jobs.

 

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in commercial roofing or a related industry
  • Strong communication skills: relatable to crews and confident with executives
  • Proven sales mentality -must be driven, persistent, and self-motivated
  • Ability to wine, dine, and close—this is a relationship-driven role
  • Must be ready to meet clear sales goals: $1M in 12 months (with 90-day ramp-up)
