This is a full -time, Outside Sales position based out of Austin, TX.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Base salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 with NO CAP<\/u><\/b> on commission and realistic opportunity to make $200,000+ annually!<\/span><\/span>

Our client is a wholesale distributor of roofing/ aluminum products, building supplies and multiple roofing products. Outside <\/span><\/span>Sales Representatives<\/span><\/span><\/span> at my client <\/span><\/span>have exclusive<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>sales tools to<\/span><\/span><\/span> enhance their success in business -to -business selling and have high earning potential.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

In this role, you will sell building supplies and industrial products to contractor customers, and Builders….You will collaborate with the Branch Manager on ways to strategically build new relationships with prospective customers in the industry. In addition, you will provide your customers with superior service as you assist them with a full range of products and services to meet their contracting needs.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/span>Specific duties may include:<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

  • Cultivating and managing customer relationships<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Build relationships with Builders/Contractors Utilizing sales reports and other data to recognize sales opportunities in customer buying patterns<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Making cold calls to prospective customers when needed.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Following sales leads and scheduling appointments with prospective customers<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Following up with customers and providing solutions, should a service concern arise<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Providing training to customers and their teams on various product lines and services<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Requirements<\/h3>

    <\/span><\/span>Specific qualifications include<\/span><\/span><\/b>:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

    • College degree (Business, Sales or other related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Specific industry knowledge is KRY including both current sales with roofing, siding,  product lines and the overall building contractor process, is required.  Need a book of business <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Knowledge and experience of window and siding materials, roofing and siding is preferred <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Previous roofing and siding  sales experience is required working with your builder and contractor relationships.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Must have valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, be able to pass MVR check, and vehicle insurance must meet company’s requirements<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
