Roofing Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roofer to join our team. This position involves installing shingles, tiles, repairing roof leaks, and performing some solar-related work. The ideal candidate has experience in residential and commercial roofing, understands proper installation techniques, and prioritizes safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and replace shingles, tiles, and other roofing materials according to project specifications.

• Diagnose and repair roof leaks efficiently to prevent further damage.

• Assist with solar panel installations and ensure proper roof integration.

• Follow proper safety procedures and OSHA regulations while working at heights.

• Work with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule.

• Inspect roofs for damage, wear, and potential issues, providing recommendations for repair or replacement.

• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, disposing of materials properly.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment safely and effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in shingle, tile, and leak repair work.

• Familiarity with solar roofing work is a plus.

• Strong understanding of roofing installation techniques and safety protocols.

• Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights.

• Comfortable using ladders, scaffolding, and roofing tools.

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Owens Corning roofing products.

• OSHA certification or other safety training.

• Basic understanding of solar panel mounting and waterproofing techniques.
